The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the date sheet for the class 10 & 12 board exams for the 2010. Both the board exams are scheduled to commence from March 3, 2010. With the Ministry for Human Resource Development, Government of India deciding to make class 10 boards optional from 2011, the forthcoming boards would be the last-ever for the class 10 students.
The students appearing for class 10 boards will have music as their first paper, while for the class 12 students physics would be the first paper.
